So it took a little bit longer than it should take (3 hours imho should be enough if you have the tools).ДЄfter that, I have found the SP30-R for $65 delivered - Took me 1 more hour to adapt the custom stand to attach the SP30.ДЇor the time spent. It was a fun project I did with my 8 years old boy. I have built the stand myself because the X-Stand did put the PX 1.5' higher than my acoustic. If you are careful, you can disconnect and reconnect without damaging the PX or the connector, but it is not designed to be removed and attached again like. The SP30 connects to the PX with a very simple 5 wires flat connector as described in the doc. It could be as simple as fixing the SP30-R on a plywood board and putting the X-Stand on it, or you could design your own stand (and some people did a beautiful job - they posted their set-up in another thread). duct tape is not the way - just kidding). The springs are pretty strong, so rigidity is important (i.e. How far are you ready to go? How does look matter to you? I can't think of any good looking hack to attach solidly the SP-30 to an X-Stand. I'm hoping that in a year or so I will have progressed enough to have 'outgrown' my px320 and once again I will be relying on you folks for advice. Has anyone tried use it without the stand? I'm thinking that this is because the pedal unit mounts to the sides of the cs65 in some way. Oh well, only harm done is I'll have to wait a few more days for the sp2 to arrive.Д¬asio claims that you can only use their three pedal unit (sp30r) with the cs65 stand which I don't want. I was debating between the fc4 and the sp2 but when I read the spec sheets only the fc4 claimed to be compatible with all dps. That is why most of us acquired a pedal that is compatible with the Casio PX line. The Casio PX line DPs expect the polarity of the sustain pedal inverted compared to the Yamaha DPs.
